I enjoyed this...i don't think it was extreme...it was very believable. being from Beaufort sc I'm very familiar with SAV GA and it was felt good reading something that i knew about as far a the area and slang...definitely a page Turner ..full of drama,deceit,back stabbing ...and a little spiritual...great job..i recommend this book...it also had me laughing.Product details

This book started off slow, but then it picked up. The characters was real and believable. There was a lot about religion in it, but that's okay. I needed the remainder about the "WORD". I will definitely keep up with this author. You may not like how slow this book start out, but keep reading. It does get better!
I liked this story. It's funny how money changes those around you more than it changes the other person,at least according to this story. Keke was a selfish, heartless female and her greed destroyed those around her. Just goes to show how some people are backstabbers. I'm glad how things turned out, even though the events in between was sad.
Uniqua dreamed of one day having enough money to live better than she does now..with her girls by her side her dream comes true but she soon learns that not every friend is true and she's caught up in a situation that tests her strength and faith. Will her dreams to be hood rich turn in a nightmare?? You'll have to read the book to find out
Ok, this book definitely held my interest. The reality is no matter who you think you friends are make sure that you are on their friend list & not their expendable list. Uniqua found that out the hard way. But thankfully karma showed KeKe who's really the best as what they do.
HoodRich is about suppose to friends who one lets greed get to her, i can't believe it Uniqua's should have listened to the fortune teller, because i know i would haven't told anyone a damn thing about what i got before i even i got my hands on it. You know how people get when money is involved and i would have kept things to myself until i got what was mine in my hands.Unique wanted to share the joy but she didn't take heed to the warning signs,and knowing how people act.It was a good read, and i like the book and the ending worked out for uniqua.
It had my attention from the first paragraph. I considered it a ghetto soap opera with the characters that all had over the top personalities. It was a fun read, not to be taken seriously just open your mind and go with it. It had laugh out loud parts that I had tears in my eyes and people looking at me sideways.
It looks like part 2 is going to be just as good. I'm waiting patiently and please don't let me down. You have given me something to read that does not require anything but a good time doing just that reading.
This is not your average hood story! There was not a dull moment to this story. I laughed cried, and even got angry. Keke was definitely a piece of work. With friends and family like her, you definitely didn't need enemies. If you haven't read this book about friends and family, do yourself a favor and read it. I guarantee you know someone just like some of the characters in this book. You won't be disappointed in this book!
