The Secretary Scandalous Secret Harlequin comics eBook Cathy Williams Takumi Kusakabe

This is a nice story. I liked the fact that Agatha was so upfront about her feelings and that Luc didn't have any of the usual (gold digger, thief, cheater, ect.) wrong suspicions about Agatha. That gets old. This one is going in my favs file.

Good read
Was not disappointed
Just OK
Established writer with well known quality writing style.
It was ok but not as good as some of the author stories that this author has written. It's the same story of the h having a one night stand with her boss (who is a big player) and falling pregnant. I liked that the h tried to push back a bit but she still was way too easy with him and jumped back into his bed in a flash. He was also quite awful to the h when she came back to tell him she was pregnant. He'd been out on a date and he made sure to let the h know that she could've interrupted something. I didn't warm to him much. I will say though that I'd still read this book again because the author tells a good story.
I loved this book. Cathy Williams made the characters come to life for me. I was a little worried that they would not make it but they did.
The heroine is a twit, who manages to rally into a befuddled teary mess. The hero has the warmth of left over pizza, says demeaning things, but hey, at 90% he loves her and she gets to push out babies and forget that he's a jackass.
"[Marriage is] not something you propose with your arms crossed."

While the plot is tired, the artwork is cute and the sentiments are relatable. Still, this one is a real trope-frankenstein grew up together but he never noticed her until she lets her hair down and dresses up, boss & secretary, gets pregnant the first time, she's always loved him but he has to learn about love before he realizes he loves her, one-sided relationship, controlling bussinessman who doesn't want to settle down and only proposes when he finds out she's pregnant, etc.

So, yeah, not a ton of new material, but it's a quick easy read on a lunch break. Comfort food for the brain.
This is a nice story. I liked the fact that Agatha was so upfront about her feelings and that Luc didn't have any of the usual (gold digger, thief, cheater, ect.) wrong suspicions about Agatha. That gets old. This one is going in my favs file.
